1. Who We Are

Moventry ("Moventry," "we," "us," or "our") provides a cloud-based CRM platform for moving companies. We act as:

  • Controller for our own business data (accounts, billing, website users)
  • Processor / Service Provider for customer data handled by moving companies

3. Sensitive Data

Sensitive data may include precise geolocation (within ~1,750 ft), financial information, and government-issued ID (if required). We only collect sensitive data when:

  • Necessary to provide services
  • Required by law
  • You choose to provide or enable it

We do NOT sell sensitive data.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate Moventry
  • Process payments
  • Communicate with you
  • Improve service performance
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations

5. Sharing of Information

We may share data with payment processors (e.g., Stripe), cloud hosting providers, communication providers (email/SMS), and analytics providers.

We do NOT sell personal data or share data for third-party advertising.

We use cookies to maintain sessions, improve performance, and analyze usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

7. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Where required by law, Moventry recognizes Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If detected, we treat it as a request to opt out of data sale, data sharing, and certain types of data processing.

8. Data Retention

We retain data only as needed for legal compliance, business operations, and security. Retention periods are listed in Section 2.

9. Customer Data (B2B Relationship)

Moventry processes data on behalf of moving companies. Moving companies own their customer data; Moventry processes it to provide services. If you are a customer of a moving company using Moventry, please contact that company directly to exercise your privacy rights.

10. Your Privacy Rights (U.S.)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, delete, correct, or obtain a copy of your data, and to opt out of certain data processing. To exercise your rights: privacy@moventry.com

11. GDPR (EU Users)

If applicable, you have rights to access, correction, deletion, data portability, restriction of processing, and the right to object to processing.

12. Data Security

We use encryption, access controls, and monitoring systems to protect your data.

13. Children's Privacy

Moventry is not intended for individuals under 16.

14. International Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States with appropriate safeguards.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will notify users of material changes.
